JOE WILDER is a struggling playwright turned private eye in a couple of late nineties' books that seem to have impresssed author Faye Kellerman, who said, "Joe Wilder is a welcome addition to the private eye elite."
In the first novel, 1995's Dance of the Mongoose, he makes his way back to his hometown of St. Thomas on the Virgin Islands when a friend is arrested for murder.
