That's the tagline for Vincent, an offbeat British P.I. show that's been touted -- at least in the States -- as a sort of U.K.answer to "quirky crime favorites" like Monk and Psych...

Like the Brits need to learn about eccentrics from Americans?

Yeah, right.

Anyway, it Ray Winstone (Sexy Beast, The Departed) plays a middle-aged ex-cop turned Manchester private eye VINCENT GALLAGHER, a workaholic who may or may not have a screw or two loose. It certainly doesn't help that he's recently divorced, or that his clients often have problems uncannily similar to his own, which means it's not always easy maintaining his professional distance. Along for the ride are the assorted members of his team, including keener junior op Robert; office secretary Gillian; long-suffering sidekick Beth and John, a senior investigator.
