Vince Latimer
Created by Paul Kruger (pseud. of Roberta Elizabeth Sebenthal)
And the award for perhaps the most perfect title for a P.I. novel (EVER!) just might be Bullet for a Blonde. That was the name of a 1958 Dell PBO featuring private eye VINCE LATIMER.
Even better -- it was written by a woman, Roberta Elizabeth Sebenthal, under the pseudonym of Paul Kruger, who also wrote about private eye/lawyer Phil Kramer.
I haven't read Bullet for a Blonde yet, but Juri Nummelin found it "a competent, but not very original P.I. book."
