STEVE STRONG is a New York based P I, and the title character of a short-lived radio series, That Strong Guy. Steve served in army during World War 2, and his stories are hardboiled in the Mike Hammer mould. His business consists of himself and his secretary Sandra. His friend on police force is Captain Jim Daley of Homicide.
The stories are always first person narrative, although he frequently addresses listeners using the second person narrator, as in "you see a...."
There are no credits on any of the episodes that I have heard, but there are at least eight surviving episodes in existence, and from the numbering it would seem that there were at least 28 broadcast. On the whole an entertaining series if the existing episodes are anything to go by.
