After his partner is murdered, Dallas Police detective CARLOS SANDOVAL resigns, and hooks up with childhood pal TRENT MALLOY, an ex-military martial arts instructor to run a private detective agency. Trent's brother, Tommy, and ex-cop turned bartender Butch McMahon help them out from time to time. And what would any 1990's cop show be without a cynical police contact? The cynical Detective Ryan fills the role.

WARNING! This is a spinoff of Walker: Texas Ranger, although the hokum level is a tad lower, and the show, thankfully, sometimes delves into slightly darker territory than its predecessor.
