Daniel Ponce
Created by Andreu Martin (1949--)

DANIEL PONCE is a Spanish PI created by Barcelona-born Martin, who has has written for many magazines and also for cinema, theater and TV.

Martin mixes official investigation with the work of the PI as he weaves the strands of two separate, tangled stories together. As in Montalban's other novels, Por amor del arte offers a harsh look at Spanish society.

Although there are no recurring characters in Martin's books, he has also written about another private eye, Juan Ges.
