Private detective DUTCH O'BRIEN is hired to lend her expertise as a consultant for a television show, called Stone, Private Eye, starring an irascible, libidinous, sixty-something actor named (hence the title). Alas, reality intrudes, along with severed heads, sex changes and other mayhem. Just another day at the office, ma'am.

Author Joyce Burditt is a Hollywood producer/writer, and the author of The Cracker Factory.
