 Sure, it's a little hokey at times, and even a little amateurish, but Whitlock, writer/actress Lauren Tess' homemade, grrl-empowered 2014 YouTube take on the BBC's Sherlock (and of course Arthur Conan Doyle's original creation) is clever and fun, and kinda endearing.
LA's cranky, eccentric twenty-something druggie and consulting detective detective SOPHIE WHITLOCK is on the hunt, looking for the killer responsible for "the dead man in the wood," aided by her new roomie Fawn Watkins.
