Valentine Pescatore
Created by Sebastian Rotella
A former agent for the U.S. Border Patrol, VALENTINE PESCATORE figures he's had enough, and decides to strike out on his own as a private detective in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
But that's not the only border crossed in this promising debut that's as much John LeCarre (or possibly Robert Ludlum) as it is Raymond Chandler -- a chance encounter with an old friend leaves Valentine accused of terrorism, and sets him (and a seductive French agent) off on a global spree that will take him to Paris and Baghdad.
