Tim Brodie
Created by Scott Turow

Former homicide cop and eighty-something private eye TIM BRODIE teams up with ex-FBI agent Evon Miller tio investigate a 25 year-old cold case: the murder of a young woman, Athena Kronon, supposedly killed by her boyfriend, Cass Giannis.

But now Cass is out, and his twin brother, Paul, is running for mayor of Kindle County, in Scott Turow's 2013 thriller, Identical, loosely based on the Greek (and later Roman) myth of Castor and Pollux.

Of course, Turow is best known as a writer of legal thrillers, including such classics as Presumed Innocent and The Burden of Proof, but he's created more than a few memorable private eyes along the way -- or at least lawyers who think they're private eyes, such as Reversible Error's Arthur Raven.
