Private eye NICK ARCHER isn't much of a private eye, but he sure can be a dick in Liar's Kiss, a 2011 graphic novel by writer Eric Skillman and artist Jhomar Soriano.

Nick's certainly got a sweet deal going: he's been hired by a jealous rich guy to keep an eye on his hot cha trophy wife with the bedroom eyes, who's more than a little easy on the eyes -- and almost as horny as Nick is.

Together, between torrid blasts of slap-and-tickle, they cook up a scam to string the old coot along -- but then murder rears its ugly little head, and the wife is the prime suspect. Except... she was in bed with Nick at the time.

With great, moody black and white artwork reminiscent at times of Carlos Sampayo and Jodee Munoz's classic P.I. comic Alack Sinner, Liar's Kiss is an audcious debut from Skillman, both a solid P.I. tale and a twisty, turny noir full of greed, lust and hidden agendas.
