MARLEY used to be a player, a Hollywood go-to guy.

Now he's just gone, divorced and unemployed, living in a seedy one-room dive on Venice Beach, trying to patch the leaky relationship he has with his teenage daughter Erin.

And then he gets the call from Buzz Baxter, an old producer buddy with a name right out of a Dan Turner yarn, who throws Marley a bone.

All Buzz wants Marley to do is hunt down down Madison Colfax, an up-and-coming actress who's taken a powder.
