Jamie Sinclair

Created by Nichole Christoff

JAMIE SINCLAIR is a private eye specializing in security in a series of well-received, action-packed P.I. e-novels by Nicole Christoff that have drawn comparisons to the work of Lee Child and Lisa Garner.

The Child angle is certainly obvious -- the entire series seems to have been marinated in military juice. Jamie was an Army brat; the only child of a strict, by-the-book two-star general (now a U.S. senator), and her ex-husband was an Army colonel, while her current squeeze, the suitably hunky Adam Barrett, is an MP.

That sort of background (and her high-profile, high-paying clients) help take this hard-charging Army brat all over the place, from upstate New York and Mississippi to Colorado and even to Europe.

The author is a writer, broadcaster, and military spouse who gives props to Jane Austen, James Thurber, and Raymond Chandler for her taste in fiction. In her Amzon bio, she claims that when "she isn't at her desk working on her latest novel, Nic is out in the woods with her ornery English Pointer.

UNDER OATH

  • "Intelligent and fast-paced, Nichole Christoff's debut thriller takes off like a rocket and never slows down."

-- Karen Rose on The Kill List

  • "Thanks to Christoff's labyrinth-style of intrigue and mystery, the enjoyment is in trying to solve the puzzle. Good luck, because in The Kill Shot, Christoff doesn't make the adventure a cake walk. She understands how to keep her readers riveted from beginning to end."

-- USA Today on The Kill Shot
