After eighteen months in the federal pen, sixtyish HAYES RUTHERFORD is more or less run out of D.C. on a rail. Fortunately, his daughter, who runs a Hollywood detective agency, still believes in her newly sober old man, and finds him a gig as an off-the-books op.
And then a presidential scandal rears its ugly head, and Hayes is the prime suspect as its source...
That's the scenario of Long Pig (2011), D.C. journalist Ross' first novel, which also garnered him a nomination from the PWA for Best First P.I. Novel.
