Rookie P.I. CHERYL BELZER is excited. Her attempt to start up her own agency may have failed miserably, but she's just landed a gig working for William Timber, the best private detective in the city, thanks to his debt to a mutual friend.

But Cheryl's excitement doesn't last long -- it turns out Timber's proudly sexist, and has no intention of hiring a woman. Reluctantly, he takes on Cheryl, but only temporarily...
