Redhead MAGGIE GARRETT is a lesbian private eye whose prime client base is San Francisco's gay community, although her investigations invariably reach far beyond.that community.

An added bonus in this likeable but short-lived (two books!) series was Maggie's burgeoning relationship with Sergeant Diana Hoffman, who works in the SFPD's homicide division.
