Jackson Jablonski
Created by Perry Lafferty

JACKSON JABLONSKI's an FBI agent and head of the Federal Crisis Team in his first appearance, The Downing of Flight Six Heavy, a 1990 techno thriller, but upon his retirement, he becomes a Los Angeles-based private eye in three more novels, including the intriguingly-titled second novel, Jablonski And The Erotomaniac.

Jackson's decidedly old-fashioned and overweight, but the boredom of retirement has him throwing himself into his cases. Unfortunately, Kirkus pegged Jablonski And The Erotomaniac as just "a mild dose of suspense and mystery with no killings and no loss of marital chastity -- even more innocuous than prime-time TV."
