Deemed medically unfit for the police, JOHN GOSS takes on erring husbands, suspiciuous car crashes in the fictionalized town of Beckford (actually Bradford) in Northern England.

CrimeTime called Goss's crime fiction debut, Thoroughfare of Stones (1995) "a welcome addition to the ranks of British PI-dom".

Richard Haley lives in Woking, Surrey. He also writes about private eye Frank Crane. Other novels include The Beckford Don, Blood and Money, The Murderer's Son, and Written in Water.
