I tell ya, I read 'em all...
GRETCHEN WIEST is a private eye hot on the trail of a cheating husband, or at least that's what she thinks. In reality, the guy -- Adam Stone, a suitably hunky petroleum engineer -- is on the run from some mob hit men after discovering some hinky practices going down at his workplace.
This all takes place in "Going After Adam," a novella in the 2003 romance anthology Bad Boys To Go. Other writers contributing are Lori Foster, the creator of the Carter Detective Agency, and Janelle Denison.
