Former Memphis hot shot criminal lawyer AL SEARS had it all, and pissed it away. Now sober, he's a licensed PI scraping by, not drinking a day at a time, working part-time as a clerk in a coin shop, with a small apartment, an old car, and a chair at the weekly poker game in the apartment above the shop.
All Al wants to do is get by, but thAt's not to be. It seems that someone from his dimly-remembered alcohol-soaked past is out to get him.
Joe L Hensley, a lawyer and former circuit court judge, is
the author of numerous novels, including the popular Robak series.
Guy M Townsend is the deputy prosecutor in Ripley County, Indiana,
former publisher of The Mystery Fancier and the author
of several books, himself. both writers live in Madison, Indiana.
