Sawazaki
Created by Ryou
Hara
Although Japan isn't exactly crawling with private eyes, fictional or otherwise, Japanese author Ryou Hara has stuck to his guns, supposedly producing some pretty decent hard-boiled work which is often reminiscent of Raymond Chandler. His first novel, Soshite Yoru Ha Yomigaeru (translates as "And the Night Revives") features a middle-aged private detective who goes by the single monicker of SAWAZAKI.
