Okay, so Key West freelance photographer ALEX RUTLEDGE isn't really a private eye, even if he does do a bit of forensic work for local law enforcement agencies. But he certainly has a knack for the work. And following Alex as he stumbles around the steamy, oddball-plagued paradise, trying to get himself out of one mess or another, is a hoot. Think of it as a cross between Jimmy Buffet and Raymond Chandler.
The series is crammed with colourful characters, local lore, snappy dialogue, and some satisfyingly black humor. Make yourself a boat drink and enjoy.
