From The Coens' uneven divorce comedy Intolerable Cruelty comes GUS PETCH (as played by Cedric The Entertainer), the rambunctious "ass-nailing" P.I. specialising in infidelity cases. Marilyn Rexroth is his main client, employing him to prove her railway-obsessed husband is playing away from home. Which he does, with extreme prejudice. Far from sneaking around in the shadows, Gus will kick down a door, armed with a huge video camera (complete with lighting rig) and proceed to tell the philanderer that, yup, his ass has been nailed.

It's not all work, work, work, though. During Petch's downtime, he's a big football fan. But when half time comes around, the video of his latest exploit (complete with naked flesh and obligatory screaming) provides entertainment for him and his friends. With that kind of dedication to duty, it's not long before he's offered a reality TV show of his own.
