Bert Norden
Created by Stuart Brock, pseudonym of Louis Trimble, (1917-1988)

BERT NORDEN's a private eye working Seattle in the early '50s. In his only known appearance, he hired as a bodyguard for a rich man, but poses as his secretary. There's a lot of typical tough guy stomping around, but all his hard-boiled strutting fails to completely mask Bert's sensitivity and appreciation for beauty, be it feminine or otherwise....

Stuart Brock (actually Louis Trimble) wrote about another tough-but-tender Seattle shamus, Pete Cory. He also wrote several other crime novels, including two under his real name about the intriguingly-titled Anthropol Detective Agency, whose turf seems to be outer space.
