Steve Mitchell
Dangerous Assignment was a radio series that ran from 1949 until about 1952, featuring Brian Donlevy as high-living "international troubleshooter" and spy-for-hire STEVE MITCHELL, whose adventures take him all over the world, via the magic of radio, "from Alaska to Arabia, Paris to Swirtzerland."
And evidently there was also a Dangerous Assignment TV show made in the 50's also starring Brian Donlevy as Steve, that was broadcast as recently as the summer of 2002 by Good Life TV in the U.S.
