RIKU LAINE, known also as "Rocky," is a Helsinki-based private eye and your typical wise-cracking tough guy. Nothing memorable here.

He made his debut appearance in Musta sade ("Black Rain) by Jonni Aho, a journalist who's probably best known as the biographer of Tony Halme, the Finnish equivalent of Jesse Ventura, a wrestler-turned-politician.
