Storm Kennedy
Created by Sax Rohmer (pseudonym of Arthur Sarsfield Ward, 1883-1959)

Attempt to cash in on P.I. craze, with P.I. STORM KENNEDY investigating murder. The usual Rohmer touches allegedly abound, including wild coincidences, various macabre and supernatural ramblings, unfortunate stereotypes and pure silliness. According to the dedication, Sax's wife Rose Elizabeth Rohmer helped write this.

Sax Rohmer, of course, was best known for creating the evil Dr. Fu Manchu, first introduced in a short story in 1912, who went on to become one of the all-time great supervillians, and the personification of the Yellow Peril. His career lasted for decades and included appearances in short stories, novels, radio and film. Yet, despite his success, rohmer, thanks to some spectacularly bad investments and even worse management of his finances, lived in poverty most of his life.
