Viktor Kärppä
Created by Matti Rönkä

VIKTOR KÄRPPÄ is technically not a PI, but more like a consultant for people whose life has gone haywire. Usually he helps Russian emigrants living in Finland, but now and again he finds himself tackling international organized crime. Kärppä has performed in two novels so far by Matti Rönkä, Tappajan näköinen mies (2002) and Hyvä veli, paha veli (2003). The novels are full of drinking and funny poking around and they have been popular in Finland.

Rönkä, Viktor's creator, is a news anchor at Yle, the Finnish Broadcasting Service.
