yet another romantic suspenser that tries to meld the P.I. and
romance genres.
Someone must be buying these, because there's tons of 'em.
This time out, the gumshoe in question is JAKE HAWKINS, who has to clear lovely Clancy Jones, a sleepwalker who's recently awoken at a murder scene -- with the murder weapon in her hand! Though it turns out there's more to the story than that. ten years ago, Clancy's testimony had put Jake's father behind bars.
B.J. Daniels is an established romance writer who also wrote Mystery Bride, another romance featuring a private eye, in this case Samantha Murphy.
