Created by Teri White (1946--)
When he gets shot, LAPD cop GAR SINCLAIR is forced to resign, but soon finds a second (almost) career as a P.I. who specializes in tracking down missing children. In his only appearance to date, 1991's Thursday's Child, he finds himself hired by conservative millionaire movie big shot Saul Epstein to track down his bronco-busting 15-year-old grandson, Beau, whose parents were recently killed in the jungles of Central America. Complicating matters is the contract killer who's also after Beau, for reasons of his own.
Teri White won an Edgar for her first novel, and also created gay private eye Jake Lieberman under the pen name of Stephen Lewis.
Report respectfully submitted by Kevin Burton Smith.
