"What the fuck's all this got to do with finding a stripper?"

Antonio Banderas plays NED CRUZ, a Los Angeles P.I. hired to find a missing stripper whose very existence is in doubt, in The Big Bang, a 2011 "two-fisted" detective film directed by Tony Krantz. It's based on a script by Erik Jendresen, the man who penned Band of Brothers.

The hapless gumshoe's quest leads to the New Mexico desert, where he finds a trail of bodies and contends with a brutal Russian boxer, meth heads, three LAPD detectives and an aging billionaire wingnut obsessed with discovering the "God Particle" - the theoretical source of all matter in the universe.

Interestingly, Richard Rionda Del Castro was also producing Give 'em Hell, Malone, another P.I. film, at the same time he was producing this one.
