Bart Condor
Created by Wade Wright (pseudonym of John Wright; 1933- )

BART CONDOR is a tough, violent New York private eye inspired by and clearly patterned after Spillane’s Mike Hammer. Good, but a little too derivative.

South African writer Wright created two other series characters, private eye Paul Cameron and intelligence op Calhoun but, for my taste, his best novels are his two stand-alones, Death at Nostalgia Street and It Leads to Murder.
