BUBBLES YABLONSKY starts out as a beautician, but is soon dividing her seemingly boundless energy between doing hair, working as a rookie reporter for the local paper and (of course) sleuthing. Strohmeyer walks a fine line between the humorous and serious aspects of her main character. Bubbles describes herself as the last "Polish-Lithuanian Barbie doll in Lehigh, Pennsylvania" , drives a Camaro and wears tube tops.
