The Continentals

Thrilling Detective Comics is pleased to present The Continentals, a great web comic written by Darryl Hughes and drawn by Monique MacNaughton.

The Continentals follows the adventures of Continental Operatives Jeffrey Tiffen Smythe and his partner, the gender-bending, swash-buckling Lady Fiona Fiziwiggs, as they stalk the mean streets of Victorian England, hot on the trail of the perpetrator of a series of brutal "mangling" murders that have plunged the city of Mansfordshire into an abyss of fear.

It's a real mash-up, combining detective fiction, action/adventure, historical drama, gothic horror, science fiction, and even steampunk.

Hughes and MacNaughton also created the 2007 Glyph Comic Award-nominated G.A.A.K: Groovy Ass Alien Kreatures, a modern re-imagining of the classic 19th century Sherlock Holmes "who done it" murder mystery created for the 21st century webcomic fan.
