CLAXON was a Portugese private detective whose adventures were related in a -- for the time -- rare original Portugese television series.

Supposedly an attempt to evoke the American detective films of the 30s and 40s, it featured co-creator António Cordeiro as Claxon, a private eye working cases in the "Great Coty," with the help of his faithful secretary Ruby Tuesday, his journalist buddy Rick Planeta and Bill Bao, a former boxer.

By all reports it was a big budget production, shot in 35 mm, and fulls of car chases and beautiful women.
