Captain Bart Friday & Skip Turner
Created by Carlton E Morse
Adventures By Morse was a radio series that related the escapades of two San Francisco P.I.'s, CAPTAIN BART FRIDAY and SKIP TURNER.
Friday is the no-nonsense, stolid one; raised in the California, while Turner has an eye for the ladies and a laconic Southern accent. They work occasionally for Military Intelligence, with their cases taking them across the globe. The stories are a mix of intrigue, adventure and mystery, with a touch of horror thrown in.
The stories were in serial format, alternating ten-chapter storylines with three-chapter installments. The show was another creation of old-time radio's mighty man Carlton E Morse, who was also responsible for I Love a Mystery and I Love Adventure.
