CATERINA "CAT" DeLUCA is the head honcho for Chicago's Pants on Fire Detective Agency which specializes in, well, straying husbands mostly.

Unfortunately, wandering spouses are often the least of her worries -- she's also got a large, boisterous family of cops, led by the meddlesome Mama DeLuca , who are convinced they can run Cat's life better than she can.

The complicated working class family, the tangled romantic relationships, the quirky characters, the soft-boiled screwball antics, the occasional building blowing up?
