Riley Waddell
Created by Floyd Mahannah (1911-1976)
RILEY WADDELLis a PI who gets hired to hide a woman
for two weeks. In tried and true pulp fashion, he starts out
sure she is a murderer (or murderess if you prefer) and ends up
in love. Better than average characterization, not just cardboard
cutouts.
Waddell is one of two PI's that Mahannah wrote single books
about, the other being Cassie Gibson.
