CRAIG CHAPPEL is a Miami bounty hunter whose brother works for him, until he's murdered while tracking down a fugitive in Montreal, in the 1990 PBO. Tough, and solid, although nothing spectacular. Still, with the Montreal setting, I knew there was a reason I hung on to this one...

Author Leslie went on to create the popular, ivory-tinkling private eye Gideon Lowry.
