Nicolas Placard
Created by Alain Demouzon (1945 --)

French private cop NICOLAS PLACARD walks the mean streets of Paris in a couple of novels by author Alain Demouzon, who's also responsible for P.I. Robert Fléchieux, but is probably best known for his series of books about Commissaire Melchior. The author has received the Prix mystière de la critique award twice, and his work has been published in Argentina, Brazil, Czechoslovakia, Denmark, Germany, Greece, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Norway, Romania, Sweden, Turkey and the United States.
