For those of you who like their gumshoes weird, former motorcycle daredevil VIC BOONE may be your man.

And not just because he calls Portland, OR home. Nope, Vic is a hard-drinking, motorcycle-riding private eye operating in a bizarro and not always friendly world set in the not-too-distant future that seems to be looking back as it much as it's looking forward, a wonky combo of 1950s seen-the-saucers sci-fi and pulp/detective/noir, full of house fly snitches, robots, talking gorillas, ray guns, professional wrestling octopi, one-eyed (in the middle of their forehead) gangsters and mad scientists.

Good thing, then, that's Vic's always got his two Super-Shorty 20-guage shotguns for company

He's sort of like Daniel Clowes' Lloyd Llewellyn, except not quite that introspective or weird. And a helluva lot less wimpy.
