Newsroom Eyes

Sensible Redhorn

Created by Timothy Holter Bruckner

Talk about a misnomer! Flashburn City newshawk SENSIBLE REDHORN is anything but -- his version of journalism is just as likely to cause it as to cover it.

He's one big bruiser of an ink-stained wrench, standing six foot three and weighing in at three hundred pounds, and his reportage skills are of a particularly hands-on type, so when someone threatens his family, his friends or his city, all gloves are off.

Through it all, though, he remains, we're told, "true, steady and determined. Committed to his friends, committed to fairness, committed to the truth. Even if it kills him."

A deliberate throwback to the hard-boiled reporter of the pulps, his publisher claims "Tim Bruckner brings something fresh to the table" in these "hard boiled nourish tale(s)."
