Wise-cracking hotshot reporter GUY "KEYHOLE" KERRY romped and stomped through the dives, back alleys and salons of the Big City, ferreting out the truth, in a brief series of short stories that appeared mostly in Dime Detective.
The thing with Kerry was that he didn't care who he pissed off. Criminals, big shots, politicians -- all he cared about was getting the scoop, and he'd do pretty much anything to make that happen.
The author was a tirelessly prolific pulp writer, who created a half-dozen or so recurring characters for Dime Detective alone, including Oke Oakley and Secrets. Inc. and sweet, grandmotherly lovelorn columnist Lora Lorne, who was actually two-fisted, cigar-chomping Bill Brent for Dime Detective.
