Sugar Shannon
Created by Adam Knight (pseudonym of Lawrence Lariar, 1908-1981; AKA Michael Lawrence and Michael Stark)

SUGAR SHANNON was female private eye. An obvious imitation of G.G. Fickling's Honey West, she only appeared once, in a 1960 paperback original (although the cover boasted that it was "A new Series by Adam Knight").

Adam Knight was one of several pen names used by Lawrence Lariar, a journeyman suspense writer probably best known for his eight books featuring New York-based private eye Steve Conacher.
