Rick Page
Created By Jack Bludis
In Shadow of The Dahlia (2004), Los Angeles private
eye RICK PAGE is hired to track down a big shot's missing
wife, a former actress whom he soon discovers has a few rather
dark secrets in her past. Meanwhile, it's early 1947 and the aura
of the notorious Black Dahlia murder case casts a pall over the
city.
Jack Bludis has covered this historical turf before. A Hunt Valley, Maryland writer with over 400 hundred short stories and forty novels under a slew of pen names, he also writes about forties Baltimore eye Ken Sligo and fifties Hollywood dick Brian Kane and has slowly, steadily been gathering Shamus nominations.
The man's a pro, with a real touch for this stuff -- it's only a matter of time. Go, Jack, go.
