The Damnation Gambit
by Barry Gregory

We're proud to present The Damnation Gambit, a great new web comic written and drawn by Barry Gregory, that mixes noir, mystery, crime fiction, and the supernatural.

Max Chandler is the quintessential tough guy, caught in the middle of an every-man-for-himself street war he sneeringly refers to as "The Game." But when Max himself is gunned down and left for dead in an alley, he has a change of perspective.  No longer just another player, he's now committed to ending the game ... his way.

Anyone who enjoys their crime fiction a little on the mean side of the street should get a big kick out of this one...

Barry Gregory is a known misanthrope, malcontent, and ne'er-do-well who has somehow managed to remain married to fellow cartoonist Jenni Gregory for almost thirteen years.  A professional cartoonist since 1993, Barry has worked on projects for every major comics publisher (and even more of the minor publishers).  A textbook example of the "jack of all, master of none" cliche, he has worked every slot on the comic book assembly line ... writer, plotter, penciler, inker, colorist, separator, and letter.  In addition, he spent two long, long years as managing editor for a once mid-sized comic book publisher ... an experience that left him scarred, haunted by nightmares, and wracked with fears for his immortal soul.  He is now on the payroll of a famous mouse, drawing happy little pictures in a perpetually sunny place.
